Pangkalpinang - Civil apparatus (ASN) of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) province is once again having marketing training.
Led by the Creative Economy division of the provincial Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports office, it will be held for 3 days starting from 10th October in Fox Harris hotel, Pangkalpinang.
Provincial assistant for economy and development Yanuar said in his opening remarks that Indonesian tourism is a synergistic work of central and regional governments.
He continued that one of the success indicators in tourism development was increasing public income.
“One of the determining factors of tourism development is the ability to build human resources. Therefore, developing tourism and economy creative human resource is important to be carried on by central and regional governments,” he said.
Aldi Octavian, sub-coordinator for tourism and economy creative resource said that the training participated by 45 ASN in Babel aimed to provide input and ideas on regional tourism marketing. The ideas were expected to be adjusted with the tourism market.
Facilitated by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy’s trainers and practitioners of tourism marketing, the participants were taught about content media, marketing strategy, and digital marketing.
