PANGKALPINANG – The acting chairwoman of Bangka Belitung (Babel) Handicraft Council (Dekranasda) had an audience with the Regional Executive Board of Indonesian Creative Women Association (Persikindo) in ISHADI Cual Museum in Batin Tikal Street, Taman Sari district, Pangkalpinang on Friday (19/1/2024).
The chairwoman of Persikindo Innawaty Hady, the owner of the museum, welcomed Safriati by putting Cual scarf around her neck. Persikindo asked for some suggestions and support on their working programme from Safriati as the acting chairwoman of Dekranasda and Woman organization cooperation board (BKOW).
“I’ve heard that there are 10 divisions in Persikindo. The structure is complete. Each division can have programmes. Because it’s still at the beginning of the year, it can be started from any division,” said Safriati.
Persikindo plans to run a sewing course in the penitentiary. Safriati encouraged all parties including BKOW and banks to support the programme.
Safriati said that she planned to get information from various organizations, including BKOW and Persikindo, and synchronized the programme to move together.
“Remember, our goal is the society. We must put aside sectoral and organizational ego,” he continued.
Safriati asked for business information that needed to be developed from Persikindo.
“We can be stronger by working together,” she said.
At the end of her working visit, she appreciated SMSe products such as food and beverages and handicrafts produced by members of Persikindo. She suggested them to keep producing because it helped others who were involved in the business. (Aliyah/SAS)
