Pangkalan Baru – The training to increase event organizing ability for regional civil apparatus (ASN) in Soll Marina hotel has over on Thursday (27/10/2022).
The head of tourism destination and marketing division Firmansyah officially closed the training on behalf of the acting head of tourism, culture, youth and sports (Disparbudkepora).
Firmansyah said that organizing an event would be better if it was collaborated with tourism office. It can be carried out between provincial and regional government.
“Event can be a collective work of either provincial or regional government. Take Provincial agencies for instance. They don’t need to organize an event by their own. It can be collaborated with tourism office,” he said.
The aim of organizing an event is to attract as many tourists as possible to Bangka Belitung to spur the economy.
“The collaboration aims to bring as many people as possible. It is due to the indicator of tourism is the number of visits,” he explained.
He also expressed his gratitude to the participants for following the training.
“Thank you for well participating in the training. Hopefully it can be implemented in your office,” he expected.
He said further to not hesitate to communicate with Disparbudkepora. In spite of the limited provincial budget due to a quite high deficit, Disparbudkepora would surely support the event.
He reminded the trainee to register the event into Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN).
