Pangkalpinang – Bangka Belitung Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports Office (Disparbudkepora Babel) held Economy Digital and Creative Product Workshop for government employees.
This event followed by 70 civil servants from all Bangka Belitung related offices was held at Fox Harris Hotel in Pangkalpinang, Thursday (01/09/2022). On behalf of Regional Secretary, Herwanita, the acting head of Disparbudkepora Babel opened the event.
In his remarks read by Herwanita, Regional Secretary hoped this workshop could give insights about creative economy. At the end, civil servants could contribute and collaborate with others to develop creative economy in Babel.
Head of Creative Economy Division of Disparbudkepora Babel, Zaiyuni also hoped that this program enlightened civil servants about creative economy. Therefore, more programs are created and policies related creative economy are made for the sake of society.
The head of Committee, Mardiansyah explained this program aimed to increase understanding of creative economy, including its potential and impact on the area.
This workshop had four sessions discussed on National Creative Economy Program and Policy, Regional Issue and Potential of Creative Economy Development, Supply and Demand Chain of 17 Creative Economy Subsectors, and How to Calculate Added value from Creative Economy.
Those topics were presented by creative economy practitioner and speakers from provincial and central government. One of them was Benedictus Permadi from Directorate of Culinary, Design, and Fashion of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia.
