Pangkalpinang – Acting Governor of Bangka Belitung Province Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu would support Babel Goes Global Expo 2023. It is a way to promote Bangka Belitung (Babel).
“I, myself and on behalf of Babel will support this event initiated by young people. Especially, it will involve disabled people,” said Suganda at Governor’s official residence on Saturday (07/11/2023) after meeting Babel Goes Global community.
The event featured Babel Goes Global award, Disabled stage, Babel Food Collaboration, Babel Fun Walk, Babel Light Run, Traditional Dance, Fashion Show, Young Entrepreneur Festival, Babel Goes Global Master Chef, and Babel Rising Star.
Suganda hoped this event could be a platform to bring creative people and artist together, along with Babel entrepreneurs. This event also helped MSMEs players to develop, and eventually support Babel economic growth.
“Most importantly, it create job opportunity. Therefore, the unemployment rate will decrease,” he said.
The event will be scheduled on November 19 – December 31, 2023 and will be held in all Babel regencies and city. The schedule will be in line with Babel 23rd anniversary commemoration program. (BD/ZE)
