Pangkalpinang – Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports Office of Bangka Belitung Province (Disparbudkepora Babel) holds Babel Sport Game to commemorate 22th anniversary of Bangka Belitung Province.
Disparbudkepora Babel has established a steering committee for the game, involving related Provincial Sports Association.
All kinds of support from regencies and city including related offices are being coordinated.
Head of Sports Division Harun said that his team will collaborate with regency’s offices for Futsal and Volley Ball that will be held in Belitung and Central Bangka respectively.
“We will hold a meeting on October 24, 2022 in Central Bangka to discuss Volley Ball game. Meanwhile, a meeting to discuss Futsal game had been conducted on October 2, 2022. Further, we will discuss with Provincial Sports Association about the games held in Pangkalpinang. We also will collaborate with Pangkalpinang Sport and Youths Office,” said Harun, after a meeting with committee at Sahabudin sports Center, Pangkalpinang on Wednesday (19/10/2022).
Furthermore, Harun stated that progress on Babel Sport Games reaches 80 per cent. Next, the committee will have a technical meeting for each game.
“God willing, everything has set. The next agenda is technical meeting for each game. Synergy is something that we keep working on. Later, we will hold a final meeting with Provincial Sports Association for each game,” Harun explained.
The objectives of this program are to improve people’s health and to encourage people to do sports in Bangka Belitung.
The venues for the games are Depati Amir Stadium, Pangkalpinang and Babel Sports Centre, Pangkalpinang for Football, Central Bangka regency Sports Centre for Volley Ball, and Tennis Court at Merdeka Square, Pangkalpinang for Tennis. Meanwhile, Tanjungpandan Sports Centre, Belitung regency will become a venue for Futsal. (RZ/ZE)
