Pangkalpinang – The flag-hoisting and the flag-lowering ceremony at the commemoration of the proclamation of the Republic of Indonesia’s independence has been held on August 17, 2022. Therefore, the national flag-hoisting team (Paskibraka) has accomplished their tasks.
Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports Office as the fostering institution for Paskibraka through the head of Youth and Scouting Division, Pairus congratulated all Paskibraka members for their great performances.
At the closing event, Pairus mentioned that this year is the last year to foster Paskibraka. According to Presidential Decree Number 51 of 2022, National Unity and Politics Agency will take over the task.
“According to Presidential Decree Number 51 of 2022, next year National Unity and Politics Agency will foster Paskibraka. That’s why I am so proud that Paskibraka performed well on our last fostering year. Great Paskibraka, Great Youth!” said Pairus passionately.
On the same occasion, Pairus appreciated all parties who have worked hard for this success.
“On behalf of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports Office, I want to express our gratitude to trainers and post-paskibraka team (Purna Paskibraka Indonesia) for the training and support,” said Pairus.
Pairus also hoped that the members can keep up the good work.
“I hope the paskibraka members can implement what have been learned during this 12 days-training, such as to act in accordance with rules and care about state defence values. Practice what you learned even though you were not in the training anymore,” said Pairus.
He expected that the Paskibra members can be ambassadors of Pancasila. They were expected to spread Pancasila’s role and value to their neighbourhood.
He also said he would contact them if there was budget for traveling to appreciate their success.
Furthermore, Pairus reminded the members to always pray to God almighty. It is the first practice of Pancasila. Lastly, he asked the members to stay in touch. (ZE/SAS)
