Tangerang, Banten – The acting head of Tourism, Culture, Sports, and Youth Office of Bangka Belitung (Disparbudkepora Babel) Herwanita attended the opening of Babel MSMEs Bazaar held at Gerai Nusantara Terminal 3 Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Thursday (2/2/2023).
Preceded by the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the acting governor of Bangka Belitung Ridwan Djamaluddin officially opened the bazaar. PT Angkasa Pura II Bangka Belitung in cooperation with PT Timah Tbk holds the MSME bazaar which is scheduled to open from 1 to 28 February 2023.
Some local arts and culture performances were also showcased during the opening ceremony. Dambus music performance, and traditional dances such as Sambut, Dayang Bedincak, Tudung Saji were performed at Bangka Belitung pavilion in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta.
“I highly support this event. It is not only beneficial for tourism, but also for MSMEs actors. They can promote their products and eventually will boost the economy in Babel,” said Herwanita after the ceremony.
She also appreciated the collaboration between PT Angkasa Pura II and PT Timah for organizing this event. It supported tourism potential development in the province.
“I hope it becomes a routine program. This event can be a perfect platform to present Bangka Belitung to national or international community,” she said.
Furthermore, she appreciated all performers who had entertained tourists from Indonesia and foreign countries.
“I really appreciate the performance which is showed our local culture. It has a pivotal role in Babel tourism development,” she added.
There are 35 MSMEs participating in this bazaar. 23 MSMEs are part of Galeri Serumpun Sebalai Bangka, and 12 MSMEs are from Rumah BUMN Belitung.
The event was also attended by President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin, HR Director of PT Timah Yennita, Director of HR and Digital In-journey of State-owned Enterprises Herdi Rosadi Harman, Head of Babel Industry and Trade office Tarmin AB, Head of Babel MSMEand Cooperative office Yulizar, Head of Babel Transportation office Asban Aris, Head of Babel Planning and Development agency Feri Insani, officials of Disparbudkepora Babel, and other guests.
After theceremony, all invited guests visited the exhibition booths, such as Batik Cual booth, Babel food stall, craft, and Babel honey stall before photo session. (RZ/ZE/SAS)
