Pangkalpinang – Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports office of Bangka Belitung Province (Disparbudkepora Babel) will hold Student Football Match (SFM) U14 2022.
Belitung regency will not participate in this tournament due to financial reason. Therefore, six regencies taking part in this game will be grouped into two. The game is going to be competed in Orom Stadium, Sungailiat Bangka regency on 6-10 November 2022.
Sports Head Division of Disparbudkepora Babel Harun in his working room said that the objective of U14 SFM is to spot young talented football athletes in Babel.
“God willing, we will provide a systematic and structured training in the future. We hope our young players will play in bigger match and join football national team. This program is an implementation of Presidential Instruction number 3 year 2019 of the Acceleration of Indonesian Football Development,” he said on Wednesday (19/10/2022).
Regarding U14 SFM 2022 committee, Harun said that he had coordinated with related parties. “Praise be to Allah, we have met provincial Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), Sport and Youths office of Bangka regency, and other parties to coordinate the upcoming tournament,” he concluded. (RZ/ZE)
