JAKARTA – The provincial government of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) explored the possibility of a partnership with PT PLN ICON Plus focusing on implementing smart tourism, building an electrical car ecosystem and digitalization to achieve modern Babel.
It was said by the acting governor of Babel Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu in his visit to PT PLN ICON Plus in Depok on Friday, 8/9/2023.
“It’s expected to support the province in implementing smart tourism starting from connectivity and attraction, building environmental-friendly electrical car ecosystem to digitalization of all public services.”
Director of networking and infrastructure of PT PLN ICON Plus Doni Aris Setiawan positively responded to the cooperation plan.
His company kept encouraging smart and green-city based services. “Not only connectivity, but also we provide media and digital platforms,” he said.
Therefore, Doni explained that he would follow up the cooperation with the Communications and Information office to evaluate what was needed by the province. (Imelda/SAS/ZE)
