Pangkalan Baru – Skill upgrading for regional civil apparatus (ASN) in tourism and creative economy sector is one of the ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy’s program executed by Deputy for Tourism Products and Events.
The program will be held from 25th to 27th October in Soll Marina Hotel. It was enthusiastically participated by provincial, regency and municipal ASN
The acting head of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports office Herwanita said that impact of event to tourism sector could be in promotion efficiency, encouraging new attraction and economic benefits.
Considering that ASN play an important role toward success of event, the skill is very important.
“ASN can prepare a regulation for executing event. They also can support event organizers. Even, they can organize event to attract tourists,” said Herwanita.
ASN are expected to understand the purpose of organizing an event in this training by learning characteristic and concept of event organizing in tourist destination.
Furthermore, ASN are able to identify, build, and keep relationship among event stakeholders.
“Learning the benefit of collaboration in organizing an event and how to identify potential partner to make the team,” she said.
Trainees will have various interesting topics during the 3 days training such as event idea and concept, terms of reference and budgeting, marketing, operation and service, stakeholders, risk management, policy and regulation, monitoring, and evaluation and report.
