MANGGAR – The acting governor of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu visited the replica of Muhammadiyah Laskar Pelangi elementary school in Belitung Timur on Saturday afternoon (1/7/2023).
The governor of Serumpun Sebalai land walked towards the school while inspecting the MSMEs sellers at the gate. This was his first visit with his wife to the memorable school.
Suganda said that the students of the school were tough fighters.
“The students were tough fighters. Whoever visits the school will know that there was a school with great students,” he said.
He looked happy when took a selfie with his wife and children at the schoolyard.
He also inspected the class and was interested in the song lyric entitled Laskar Pelangi by Nidji Band.
“It’s a good lyric. I’ll take photos here,” he said.
While visiting the school, he expected that the school could keep being maintained.
“It must be maintained or it’ll collapse five or ten years later. Remember to keep the atmosphere to make visitors comfortable,” he added. (Elvianti/SAS/ZE)
