Pangkalpinang – A country can be an advanced nation due to education, just like Japan which was previously destroyed in WW II.

Indonesia has the potential to be an advanced country. It is not only because it has an abundance of natural resources, but it is also because it is the fourth biggest human resource country in the world. It should focus on education.

Therefore Purna Caraka Muda Indonesia (PCMI) of Bangka Belitung organized Youth Forum Study Abroad with Scholarship, Environment Youth Discussion.

The head of provincial Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) Widya Kemala Sari was proud and happy for the forum. It provided scholarship information abroad.

“Get as much as information you need. It’s really important. Studying abroad is a priceless experience. You’ll experience various cultures. Some are good and some are not to be adapted,” she said in Pasir Padi room in the Governor’s office on Thursday, 29/8/24.

Widya motivated and encouraged the youths to try their hard to get the chance.

“Push beyond your limits. Try your best. There’re plenty of chances to study abroad. We can get scholarships. Just find as much as information you can get,” she added.

The forum invited Abdurrahman Septiadi (LPDP scholarship in England), Ghaida Rhosuna (Aminef scholarship in America), and tomi Sah (Communication Ministry scholarship in China).

It also invited the dean of Bangka Belitung University Prof. Dr. Ibrahim, M.Si., founder of Alobi Foundation Langka Sani, director of Tarsius Center Foundation of Indonesia Budi Setiawan, and Indonesian Environmental Society of Babel Subhan Hafiz. (Khalimo/SAS)
