Pangkalpinang – Provincial Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports office of Bangka Belitung (Babel) monitored and evaluated the expenditure percentage of the provincial endowment fund to the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI) in the first semester of the 2022 fiscal year.
The monitoring was conducted by the head of Youths and Scouts division Pairus accompanied by Youth Empowerment sub coordinator Harry Wahyudi, Youth Development sub coordinator Wijayanti Budi Lestari, and Scouts sub coordinator Christ Marety on Monday (11/07/2022).
The evaluation is the division duty which must be reported to the governor and inspectorate agency to ensure that KNPI is on the track.
“We come to evaluate the progress of this year's program execution,” said Pairus.
Head of provincial KNPI Remil Y.S. reported that this year's expenditure was 42% of the budget. Most of it was for secretariat purposes.
Besides the endowment fund, Pairus also reminded the committee to input youth mass organization data in sibumi.babelprov.go.id application so that the youth development index can be recognized.
“The application does not only facilitate us with the data, but it also makes effective and efficient work,” he added.
On the same occasion, Harry Wahyudi informed Regional Government Program (RKPD) agreement between the office and Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) for 2022-2024. The outputs of the RKPD are youths’ active role and entrepreneur youths.
He added that the division expected to have data from every college where youth organizations under KNPI were established through KNPI Goes to Campus/School program. It would be a working standard in the province, especially in increasing the youth development index (IPP) of youth active role in the organization.
“Therefore, we consider it important so there will be a synergic output. The output for the budget can also be a youth output so province IPP will be increased,” explained Wahyudi. (Khalimo/ Translated by S. Ahmad Sobri/ Edited by Zelly)
