PANGKALPINANG – The acting chairwoman of the Woman Organization Cooperation Board (BKOW) of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) province Safrizal attended and opened the regular BKOW meeting and Ecoprint training in Cual Ishadi Museum in Ahmad Yani St. Pangkalpinang on Thursday (7/3/2024).
This is the third meeting since she became the chairwoman. DPC Persikindo acted as the host of the meeting.
“I hope other woman organizations can also work together with other organizations to iniate beneficial programme just like Eco print,” she said.
She expressed her willingness to participate in similar programme organized by other woman’s organization. The meeting also discussed about volunteer work in the near Ramadhan. She asked all organizations to make beneficial programme for the society by donating the nine basic necessities and usable clothes.
“We can move together. If we are alone, we can only give a small effect. By working together, we can prove that woman organizations in Babel can bring benefit to the society,” she added.
Furthermore, Safriati expected to the existed organizations to make programmes based on their divisions. Organizations from police and attorney offices can educate the people on law and how to prevent domestic violence and others.
“We hope to give multiplier effect to the people. You can move based on your background,” she said.
After delivering her remarks, she joined the ecoprint training on the rooftop of the museum. It was parcipated by about 40 women from various organizations in Babel. (Lisia Ayu/SAS)
