Pangkalpinang – The people of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) province crowded into Merdeka Square Pangkalpinang on Sunday night (27/7/25) to watch the closing ceremony of Explore Babel 2025, organized by the provincial Bank Indonesia.
It was enlivened by Shabrina Leanor, the champion of Indonesia Idol 2025, singing six songs.
The ceremony was attended by the governor of Babel, Hidayat Arsani, and members of the Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda). He highly appreciated the event and hoped it would increase the public’s income.
“This three-day event is a synergistic commitment of the provincial government in encouraging economic activities of micro, small, medium enterprises, tourism, and economy creative,” said Dayat.
He said further that, it should not just be an exhibition of regional potency or an annual event, but it must be a symbol of collaborative spirit to improve the above-mentioned sectors.
The provincial Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports office (Disparbudkepora) participated in the event with its information booth on tourism and creative economy.
The visitors enthusiastically visited the booth. It offered interesting gifts by winning quizzes on tourism, culture, and economy creative of Babel.
Previously, there was a talk show on Cultural heritage and nature tourism to build a strong and sustainable economy of the province known as the land of Serumpun Sebalai.
