Pangkalpinang – The pouring rain did not refrain people from enjoying music festival on Friday night (24/12/2023) at Taman Merdeka Square, Pangkalpinang. This event enlivened 23rd Bangka Belitung (Babel) anniversary day commemoration.
The event featured Danil Josse Pratama, Babel representative in Indonesia Idol 2023, stand-up comedy, musical drama about Babel history, and music festival performed by Babel creative youths.
This event was part of 23rd Bangka Belitung anniversary day commemoration. It started from November 23 to November 25, 2023.
Also accompanying Acting Governor of Bangka Belitung Safrizal ZA on that occasion, there were Babel official Heads, Acting Mayor of Pangkalpinang Lusje Anneke Tabalujan, and Regional Leadership Coordination Forum.
“Happy 23rd anniversary for Bangka Belitung province,” said Safrizal opening his remarks.
“23 years old is an age with high enthusiasm, in term of development for community welfare,” he continued.
He also hoped that rainy days would not refrain people to celebrate 23rd Bangka Belitung anniversary day commemoration.
“Take this rain as a blessing from Allah SWT. It has been a while. I hope all of you stay enthusiast to celebrate 23rd Bangka Belitung anniversary day commemoration. Enjoy!” said Safrizal.
