Pangkalpinang – Head of Bangka Belitung Purna Caraka Muda Indonesia (PCMI), Ghaida motivated participants of Youth Exchange Program 2022 selection. She said the key to join this program was having self-confidence and strong mentality.

Ghaida also shared her experience on how she overcame anxiety and made it through to South Korea in 2016.

“I was there done that. I was nervous as well, but none realized it. If we managed to supress it, we can perform confidently. So, don’t sweat on small stuff, and just focus.” she said.

Ghaida also mentioned being a delegate was a pride, especially when garuda pin was attached. There was a sense of proud and emotional feeling. Therefore, she hoped all participants did their best and earned valuable lesson form this program.

“Just do your best, guys. The experience of participating in this program is worth it, whether you are selected or not. That’s why, in collaboration with Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports office, we designed a meaningful selection program.

On the same occasion, Ghaida said 45% of jobs will vanish in the next 10 years. She quoted it from Oxford Study.

“If 1% of jobs disappear…, can you imagine how many people will be unemployed? It is because robots will do human’s job.” said Ghaida.

That was why, youth was expected to take more initiatives by developing themselves and keep learning. As a closing statement, Ghaida said “We are the real people and we are the real experience. So, do your best and good luck.” (Translated by ZE)
