Pangkalpinang – Head of Bangka Belitung Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports Office (Disparbudkepora Babel), Wydia Kemala Sari opened Basic Leadership Training for Senior Scouts. This training was held on December 3-7, 2023 at Grand Safran Hotel. It aimed to improve the capacity of Bangka Belitung scouts.
On that occasion, Wydia said that scouts must have a leadership attitude. In order to build that attitude, scouts must implement the true spirit of scouts contained in the Tri Satya and Dasa Darma.
“Scouts must implement them in building leadership attitude by learning by doing, working with others, doing outdoor activity, and cooperating with older people,” said Wydia.
She also added that scouting can be a way to create ideal leader.
“Scouting can be a way to make an ideal leader. The ideal leader must have a good personality, protect the country, and practice the true values of Pancasila,” said Wydia.
Therefore, Wydia hoped this training could be beneficial in creating reliable senior scouts. (KTE/ZE)
