Pangkalpinang –Youth section of Bangka Belitung Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports office (Disparbudkepora) held a meeting to announce schedule for recruiting new member of flag-hoisting team (Paskibraka) for national and provincial level on Thursday (14/04/2022). The meeting was led by Pairus, Head of Youth and Scouting Division, and accompanied by Wiyanti Budi Lestari, Sub-coordinator for Youth Development.
In this meeting, the schedule for Paskibraka member selection was announced. The selection would be on May 10-14, 2022. These dates was chosen with many considerations.
“We (Disparbudkepora) had a prior meeting to choose the date," said Yanti.
Today’s meeting was aimed to deliver the selection procedure. “This meeting is essential to explain how the selection will proceed, including hotel accommodation, and transportation,” she added.
This year Paskibraka member selection will be followed by 42 students from all Bangka Belitung city and regencies. Each region will send 3 male and 3 female students. Later, one pair of students will join national team. While the rest will serve at the Province.
The participants will do some tests, including physical examination, health check, psychological test, and drill movement practise. The examiners for those tests are Rosmita, Doctor Hendri, and Wahyu Kurniawan respectively. Meanwhile a group of examiner will test the drill movement practise. They consist of Chief Sergeant Hananto, Sergeant Major Manurung, Second Police Officer Adjunct Wahyu Nugraha, Second Police Officer Adjunct Juri, and Chief Police Brigadier Rici Ricardo. (KTE/ ZE)
