PANGKALPINANG – The acting governor of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Safrizal ZA started the Bhayangkara Babel Run 2024 participated by 2500 in Bhay Park on Sunday, 2/5/2024.
It was a part of the series events to commemorate the 78th birthday of Bhayangkara on 1st Juli 2024. There were two categories: 5 K and 10 K.
“Keep spirit! May all of you reach the finish,” said Safrizal. “Thanks to the regional police chief for the race. It’ll motivate the people to exercise.”
Running is a favourite sport. Besides being easy to practice, it also has many benefits for health including heart.
“It’s also a media to strengthen relationships among us,” he added.
He hoped it would raise athletes who could compete in national or international races.
“Many children compete in the race. Who knows they can run for the province in the future,” he continued.
