Pangkalpinang – Provincial Government of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (Babel) officially kicked off the 13th Regional Student Sports Week (POPDA) 2026, in Pangkalpinang on Sunday (7/5/2026). It is an important moment for developing student sports and also serves as a platform to scout talented athletes from all areas across the province.
The opening ceremony was attended by contingents from seven regencies/cities across Babel. Wydia Kemala Sari, the Head of the provincial Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports Office (Disparbudkepora), on behalf of the governor, delivered a speech and officially opened the event.
