Belitung – The acting Governor of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Suganda Pandapotan Pasaribu and his wife Maya Suganda Pasaribu visited Rimba Alam Bahagia on Sunday, 30/4/23. They were fascinated by the beauty of it.

The attraction located in Aik Begantong hamlet, Kacang Butor village, Badau District, Belitung managed by the International Nature Loving Association (INLA) is also functioned as an educational area for students of Universal Family School.

Accompanied by HAS Handjoeddin military airport commander Lieut. Col. Lucky Indrawan, S.A.P. and his wife, Suganda watched a brief video about the attraction in the geo theatre room.

Suganda said that the attraction had a really good concept. “It can encourage children not only to love nature but also to have benefit from it. It’s more than just loving nature; it’s about realizing that they live in nature as God’s creatures,” he said.

He also added that all plants grow without fertilizer. “If we can implement it in many places in Indonesia, we can reduce the number of diseases like cancer. Furthermore, it also offers high-quality oxygen.”

He also supported the idea to build an agriculture vocational school there. “We really support it. We consider that the agricultural sector in Bangka Belitung, especially Belitung, can be developed. We need to prepare competent human resources for it.”

The acting governor and his entourages also inspected the loving nature gallery, geo restaurant, geo house, organic farm and waste management installation.

They even plucked some Babel typical kalamansi limes locally known as jeruk kunci in organic farm. (Lulus/SAS/ZE)
