Pangkalpinang — The National Integration Forum (FPK) of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province continued a series of audience meetings by visiting the provincial Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports Office (Parbudkepora) on Wednesday (01/22/2026).

It was to align the annual working program with the government’s offices that supervise FPK. Previously, it had conducted an audience with the Education Office.

The delegation, chaired by Jayadi and accompanied by Secretary Aswandi, three deputy chairpersons, and several department heads, was received directly by the Head of Parbudkepora, Widya Kemala Sari. Also accompanying Widya were the Office Secretary Ade Irma Setianingsih, Head of the Culture division Martini, Head of the Tourism Destination division Irwanto, as well as several staff members, in the office’s meeting room.

After the introduction, the meeting continued with a warm and productive discussion. Various creative ideas emerged, especially in regional cultural performances outside of the province.

Widya Kemala Sari emphasized that tourism heavily relies on cultural strength.

"Tourism depends on culture. Tourists love to see cultural attractions while enjoying natural beauty," she said.

One of the main emerging ideas was the need for a representative area for cultural attractions with food stalls resembling traditional houses from various regions.

Replianto explained that the inside part of the stalls was similar, while the outside or entrance displays the traditional house design from the region of the cuisine being sold.

“For example, the entrance of a Minangkabau stall is shaped like gonjong. The same applies to stalls from North Sumatra, East Java, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sumatra, and other regions where residents are in Bangka Belitung,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Madura Family Association, Aan Junaidi, suggested that the area should be flat and wide. It could be used for the Karapan Sapi race.

“We have held the race four times and plan to hold it again this year. But the area is not yet available. On the other hand, we have received support from four regional heads in Madura,” he said.

According to Aan, the competition required about one hectare of land for the safety of participants and visitors.

Aswandi added that the area will later be arranged comprehensively.

“For example, there could be a dedicated area for Karapan Sapi or Pacu Kuda, surrounded by rows of traditional houses, an art stage, and parking areas. For the entire area, we need at least three hectares; the concept is like a miniature of Taman Mini Indonesia,” he explained.

Various cultural attractions are also ready to be performed. Tulus Aji Nugroho said that his Reyog Ponorogo Art Group was ready to perform whenever needed, including Kuda Lumping performances and other regional arts from communities in Bangka Belitung.

At the end of the meeting, Widya Kemala Sari appreciated the constructive discussion and asked all staff to take note of every idea.

"This is very encouraging, and we will help realize the area. We have land around the Sahabuddin Sports Center, the former site of the 2018 MXGP. Maybe that land can be utilized. Of course, we will communicate with the governor. The most important thing is that the enthusiasm, and we must be able to make it happen," emphasized Widya.
