Pangkalpinang – As a demographic bonus, youth plays a strategic role in accelerating development. Youth is a subject of development and an agent of change for its surroundings.
Therefore, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has a Young Leader Training Programme (PKPMN). It aims to upgrade youth’s insight into national resistance and leadership competency.
Orie Fachrido Hermawan, one of the PKMPN 2024 delegations from Babel visited Disparbudkepora to have an audience after participating in the Young Talent programme entitled Training for Indonesian Leaders N’ Top Managers in Jakarta. He introduced Yuk Kawa Babel to the programme.
“Yuk Kawa aims to facilitate youth in Babel to actively participate in every organization’s and social program. It also provides suggestions to youth having strategic positions in government,” said Orie.
The head of Kadisparbudkepora Widya Kemala Sari appreciated the programme.
“I appreciate it. Yuk Kawa encourages leadership quality. It aims to increase the capability with local wisdom insight based on Sustainable Development Goals,” said Widya.
